Now in its 4th edition, The European refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump (RACHP) sector is once again spotlighting its future leaders at the 2026 European Rising Stars – Women & Youth in Cooling Video Competition. This year’s winners are:

WRD and AREA were proud to announce the winners of the 3rd edition of the Women in Cooling Competition (WiCC25). This initiative is a key part of WRD and AREA’s shared commitment to fostering inclusion and diversity in the cooling sector, with a particular focus on encouraging more women to pursue and thrive in careers within the RACHP field.

2nd edition (2024): The refrigeration industry celebrates a new champion as Charlotte Robinson from the UK clinches the top spot in the second edition of the Women in Cooling video competition. Robinson impressed the judges with her hands-on practical troubleshooting of a compressor, showcasing her expertise and technical acumen in the field.

The name of the winner was released on the 8 June during the conference #20EUconfRAC: Léana Khaled Payan, young French technician of Axima Refrigeration, who was evaluated as the best among the 12 participants. Congratulations to her!
