On 5th May 2012, Graeme Fox was re-elected President of AREA for the period 2012-2014. AREA also welcomed a new member, the Spanish association CNI.

Contractors’ training with low GWP refrigerants: mind the gap!

Whereas the European Commission is considering measures towards a decreased use of HFCs, an internal survey from AREA, the Voice of European Air-Conditioning, Refrigeration and Heat Pump (RACHP) Contractors, warns against the risk of shortage of contractors trained in the use of low GWP refrigerants.
